Mr. Chávez
Taught physical education at Hillcrest Boys' School
- 🇺🇸 San Diego, California, United States
- Hillcrest Boys' School
- 2005 to 2022
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a nurse, and 17 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I coached the school's cross-country squad for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
More about Mr. Chávez
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

You taught me physical education in 2019 at Hillcrest Boys' School. I still remember the day we all got the giggles in assembly.
