I taught computer science and agriculture at Los Angeles Boys' School, Los Angeles. I played music while people worked.
I ran the reading group after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I'm always reading two books at once.
More about Mr. Chávez
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the planetarium, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Mr. Chávez: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
