Mr. Cele
Design and technology and agriculture teacher, Soweto
- 🇿🇦 Soweto, Gauteng, South Africa
- Soweto Academy
- 1996 to 2012
- English, Zulu
I came to teaching late, after working as a radio technician, and 16 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I fix old bicycles. Inside it, I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Mr. Cele
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Cele: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
