I taught music at Atlas Secondary School in Leeds from 1982 to 2009. Most days I taught the final-year class, and I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
Over the years I had 730 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
More about Mr. Castro
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Castro: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
