Mr. Castillo
Retired religious studies teacher from Coventry Grammar School
- 🇬🇧 Coventry, England, United Kingdom
- Coventry Grammar School
- 1990 to 2025
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a farmhand, and 35 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I'm learning the guitar. Inside it, I answered every email, even at midnight.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Mr. Castillo
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Castillo: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me religious studies in 2007 at Coventry Grammar School. I still remember that terrible school play.

You taught me religious studies in 2021 at Coventry Grammar School. I still remember the quiz night we nearly won.
