Mr. Carr
Home economics teacher at Newcastle upon Tyne Academy, Since 1999

I came to teaching late, after working as a night-shift cleaner, and 27 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I've had 920 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Mr. Carr
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the science museum, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Mr. Carr: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
