For 27 years I was the art teacher at Tampa Girls' School. I taught Grade 8 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I'm learning the guitar. Inside it, I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Mr. Carlson
If you were in my Grade 8 class, you probably remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on.
What gifts mean to Mr. Carlson: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
