I taught home economics at Da Nang Technical College in Da Nang from 1982 to 2016. Most days I taught the final-year class, and I answered every email, even at midnight.
Over the years I had 750 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
