Mr. Can
20 years teaching chemistry in Üsküdar
- 🇹🇷 Üsküdar, Istanbul, Türkiye
- Üsküdar Academy
- Since 2006
- English, French
For 20 years I have been the chemistry teacher at Üsküdar Academy. I teach the final-year class and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I've had 500 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Mr. Can
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Mr. Can: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
