Mr. Çakır
20 years teaching biology in Regensburg
- 🇩🇪 Regensburg, Bavaria, Germany
- Bamboo Public School
- Since 2012
- German, Turkish
For 14 years I have been the biology teacher at Bamboo Public School. I teach the final-year class and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I've coached the school's netball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Mr. Çakır
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
What gifts mean to Mr. Çakır: Any gift will help me keep tutoring for free.

You taught me biology in 2024 at Bamboo Public School. I still remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on.
