For 23 years I was the physics teacher at Istanbul Girls' School. I taught the final-year class and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I coached the school's basketball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
