I teach music at Harbor Public School in Tuxtla Gutiérrez since 1983. Most days I teach Grade 6, and I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Over the years I've had 1,630 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
What gifts mean to Mr. Cabrera: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
