Mr. Byrd
Social studies and Spanish teacher, Glasgow
- 🇬🇧 Glasgow, Scotland, United Kingdom
- Glasgow Academy
- 1998 to 2007
- English
For nine years I was the social studies teacher at Glasgow Academy. I taught Grade 11 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window. Inside it, I never turned anyone away.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Mr. Byrd
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
