Mr. Byrd
Social studies and drama teacher, Seattle
- 🇺🇸 Seattle, Washington, United States
- Victory Public School
- Since 1982
- English
For 44 years I have been the social studies teacher at Victory Public School. I teach Year 9 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I've had 1,140 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Mr. Byrd
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the old fort, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Mr. Byrd: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
