Mr. Byaruhanga
Mathematics and French teacher, Nairobi
- 🇰🇪 Nairobi, Nairobi, Kenya
- Kilimanjaro Secondary School
- Since 1981
- English, Swahili
I came to teaching late, after working as a night-shift cleaner, and 45 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've run the chess club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I make terrible puns.
More about Mr. Byaruhanga
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the planetarium, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Mr. Byaruhanga: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me mathematics in 2025 at Kilimanjaro Secondary School. I still remember the quiz night we nearly won.

I failed mathematics twice before you. After you I passed with a B. Thank you. Greetings from Pattaya.
