I came to teaching late, after working as a night-shift cleaner, and 40 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I bake for the whole street at New Year. Inside it, I stay late on Thursdays for anyone who needs it.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
More about Mr. Butler
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the coast, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Mr. Butler: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
