Mr. Buthelezi
25 years teaching home economics in Johannesburg
- 🇿🇦 Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa
- Ashford Academy
- Since 2001
- English, Afrikaans
I came to teaching late, after working as a radio technician, and 25 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've coached the school's basketball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Mr. Buthelezi
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

You taught me home economics in 2008 at Ashford Academy. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard. Truly.
