I taught geography at Detroit High School in Detroit from 1980 to 2015. Most days I taught first-year students, and I never once raised my voice.
I ran the robotics club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
I'm still learning every day.
