For 17 years I was the English literature teacher at Holy Cross Public School. I taught Year 7 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I ran the reading group after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I fix old bicycles.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the science museum, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
