Mr. Botha
Art and mathematics teacher, Johannesburg
- 🇿🇦 Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa
- Highland Technical College
- Since 2013
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a night-shift cleaner, and 13 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've coached the school's basketball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Mr. Botha
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

You taught me art in 2017 at Highland Technical College. I still remember the long bus ride home.
