Mr. Botha
Music teacher at Sandton Boys' School, Since 1986

I came to teaching late, after working as a mechanic, and 40 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I've had 1,160 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Thank you for stopping by.
More about Mr. Botha
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
What gifts mean to Mr. Botha: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me music in 2001 at Sandton Boys' School. I still remember the time the class pet escaped. Thank you again.

You probably don't remember me, I sat by the window in 2008. I remember you. Greetings from San Jose.
