Mr. Borges

34 years teaching physics in Rio de Janeiro

  • 🇧🇷 Rio de Janeiro, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
  • Rio de Janeiro Public School
  • 2017 to 2025
  • Portuguese, English
Rio de Janeiro Public School was my second home. I taught physics there from 2017 to 2025, mostly Year 9. Over the years I had 190 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile. I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

What gifts mean to Mr. Borges: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

you taught me physics in 2024 at Rio de Janeiro Public School. I still remember the quiz night we nearly won.
