Mr. Black
Teacher at Brooklyn Public School, loves history
- 🇺🇸 Brooklyn, New York, United States
- Brooklyn Public School
- 1992 to 2019
- English
For 27 years I was the history teacher at Brooklyn Public School. I taught teenagers and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I coached the school's quiz team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Mr. Black
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
What gifts mean to Mr. Black: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me history in 1998 at Brooklyn Public School. I still remember the long bus ride home. Greetings from Arlington.
