Mr. Black
Physics and biology teacher, Birmingham
- 🇺🇸 Birmingham, Alabama, United States
- Birmingham Academy
- 2014 to 2025
- English
For eleven years I was the physics teacher at Birmingham Academy. I taught Year 7 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I coached the school's basketball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Mr. Black
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.
What gifts mean to Mr. Black: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me physics in 2017 at Birmingham Academy. I still remember the day we all got the giggles in assembly.
