I taught drama and economics at São Paulo Secondary School, São Paulo. I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
Over the years I had 320 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Mr. Bezerra
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
What gifts mean to Mr. Bezerra: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
