Mr. Bennett

36 years teaching Spanish in Newport

English

I teach Spanish at Newport Academy in Newport since 2007. Most days I teach mixed-ability classes, and I write a short note to every student at the end of term. I've coached the school's cross-country squad for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again. I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

More about Mr. Bennett

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the old fort, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
