Mr. Bennett
Taught special education at Starlight High School
- 🇺🇸 Fresno, California, United States
- 1989 to 2015
- English
I taught special education at Starlight High School in Fresno from 1989 to 2015. Most days I taught mixed-ability classes, and my door was open at lunch.
Over the years I had 1,010 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Mr. Bennett
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

you taught me special education in 2005 at Starlight High School. I still remember the surprise birthday cake.
