Mr. Benítez
37 years teaching history in Detroit
- 🇺🇸 Detroit, Michigan, United States
- Victory Academy
- Since 2011
- English, Spanish
I teach history and environmental science at Victory Academy, Detroit. I always have a bag of oranges in my drawer.
I've coached the school's quiz team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

What gifts mean to Mr. Benítez: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
