I taught history at Kilkenny High School in Kilkenny from 1997 to 2009. Most days I taught teenagers, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Outside the classroom I garden badly but happily. Inside it, I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
More about Mr. Bell
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the capital, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
What gifts mean to Mr. Bell: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
