Mr. Begum
23 years teaching Spanish in Dhaka
- 🇧🇩 Dhaka, Dhaka, Bangladesh
- Valley View Academy
- 1992 to 2006
- English
I taught Spanish at Valley View Academy in Dhaka from 1992 to 2006. Most days I taught mixed-ability classes, and I answered every email, even at midnight.
Over the years I had 770 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Mr. Begum
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
