Mr. Begum

Taught early years at Savar Public School

🇧🇩 Savar, Dhaka, Bangladesh
Savar Public School
2007 to 2016
English, Bengali

I came to teaching late, after working as a nurse, and nine years later I still can't imagine doing anything else. Outside the classroom I'm learning the guitar. Inside it, my door was open at lunch.

More about Mr. Begum

The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Begum: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
