Mr. Batista

I teach agriculture at Lakeview Public School in Duque de Caxias since 1983. Most days I teach Grade 6, and my door is open at lunch.
I've coached the school's netball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Mr. Batista
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Batista: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
