Mr. Batista
Teacher at Sunrise High School, loves French
- 🇧🇷 Ribeirão Preto, São Paulo, Brazil
- Sunrise High School
- 2012 to 2025
- Portuguese
I came to teaching late, after working as an accountant, and 13 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I had 750 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Mr. Batista
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the science museum, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
What gifts mean to Mr. Batista: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.

you taught me French in 2025 at Sunrise High School. I still remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on.

A small gift is a big thank-you.
