Mr. Bates
Accounting and drama teacher, Manukau
- 🇳🇿 Manukau, Auckland, New Zealand
- Manukau Academy
- Since 2005
- English
For 21 years I have been the accounting teacher at Manukau Academy. I teach mixed-ability classes and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I've run the science fair after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I fix old bicycles.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
More about Mr. Bates
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the old fort, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Mr. Bates: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me accounting in 2018 at Manukau Academy. I still remember the last day before the summer holidays.

You taught me accounting in 2018 at Manukau Academy. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard! Greetings from Gliwice.
