Mr. Bates

History and accounting teacher, Phoenix

  • 🇺🇸 Phoenix, Arizona, United States
  • Andes High School
  • Since 2010
  • English
I teach history at Andes High School in Phoenix since 2010. Most days I teach the youngest children, and I never turn anyone away. I've coached the school's football team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again. I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

More about Mr. Bates

The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
