Mr. Bates
Teacher at St. Mary's Secondary School, loves history

For 31 years I have been the history teacher at St. Mary's Secondary School. I teach teenagers and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I've coached the school's quiz team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
What gifts mean to Mr. Bates: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
