Mr. Bates
Home economics and history teacher, Anaheim
- 🇺🇸 Anaheim, California, United States
- Mount Pleasant Public School
- 1998 to 2023
- English
Mount Pleasant Public School was my second home. I taught home economics there from 1998 to 2023, mostly mixed-ability classes.
I ran the science fair after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I'm learning the guitar.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Mr. Bates
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Bates: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
