I teach English literature and history at Kilimanjaro Middle School, Brasília. I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
Outside the classroom I garden badly but happily. Inside it, I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

What gifts mean to Mr. Bastos: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

you taught me English literature in 1997 at Kilimanjaro Middle School. I still remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on!
