For 47 years I have been the special education teacher at Atlas Secondary School. I teach teenagers and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I garden badly but happily. Inside it, I play music while people worked.
More about Mr. Bastos
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
