Mr. Basnet
Teacher at Kathmandu Middle School, loves mathematics
- 🇳🇵 Kathmandu, Bagmati, Nepal
- Since 2002
- English, Nepali
I came to teaching late, after working as a night-shift cleaner, and 24 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've coached the school's basketball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Mr. Basnet
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the coast, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Mr. Basnet: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
