Mr. Başaran
Spanish and geography teacher, Istanbul
- 🇹🇷 Istanbul, Istanbul, Türkiye
- Since 2004
- English
For 22 years I have been the Spanish teacher at Pioneer Boys' School. I teach teenagers and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I've coached the school's basketball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Mr. Başaran
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

I was in your teenagers class in 2023. You believed I could do it before I did. Greetings from Los Angeles.
