Mr. Barua
22 years teaching geography in Chattogram
- 🇧🇩 Chattogram, Chattogram, Bangladesh
- Liberty Middle School
- 1985 to 2008
- English, Bengali
I came to teaching late, after working as a night-shift cleaner, and 23 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays. Inside it, I answered every email, even at midnight.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Mr. Barua
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
