Mr. Barua
14 years teaching geography in Swansea
- 🇬🇧 Swansea, Wales, United Kingdom
- Hillcrest Girls' School
- Since 1980
- English, Bengali
I teach geography at Hillcrest Girls' School in Swansea since 1980. Most days I teach Grade 8, and I never turn anyone away.
I've coached the school's netball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Mr. Barua
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

I was in your Grade 8 class in 1982. You believed I could do it before I did. Truly.

You taught me geography in 2016 at Hillcrest Girls' School. I still remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on.

you taught me geography in 2025 at Hillcrest Girls' School. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.
