I taught statistics at Syracuse Grammar School in Syracuse from 1989 to 2020. Most days I taught Year 7, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Over the years I had 1,610 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
