Mr. Barnes
Agriculture teacher at Auckland Boys' School, 2015 to 2024
- 🇳🇿 Auckland, Auckland, New Zealand
- 2015 to 2024
- English, French
I came to teaching late, after working as a postal worker, and nine years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I coached the school's cross-country squad for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Mr. Barnes
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Barnes: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
