Mr. Barasa
18 years teaching statistics in Mbale
- 🇺🇬 Mbale, Eastern Region, Uganda
- Queensway High School
- Since 1992
- English, Swahili
I came to teaching late, after working as a mechanic, and 34 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've run the chess club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I garden badly but happily.
Thank you for stopping by.
More about Mr. Barasa
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Barasa: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.

You taught me statistics in 2023 at Queensway High School. I still remember the day the fire alarm went off during the exam.
