Mr. Bankole
Retired home economics teacher from Queensway High School
- 🇳🇬 Port Harcourt, Rivers, Nigeria
- Queensway High School
- 1984 to 1998
- English
For 14 years I was the home economics teacher at Queensway High School. I taught Year 7 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
More about Mr. Bankole
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Bankole: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me home economics in 1989 at Queensway High School. I still remember the end-of-term party.

A small gift is a big thank-you.
