Mr. Bandara
28 years teaching music in Negombo
- 🇱🇰 Negombo, Western, Sri Lanka
- Gateway Grammar School
- Since 2015
- English, Sinhala
I came to teaching late, after working as a waiter, and eleven years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I bake for the whole street at New Year. Inside it, I never raise my voice.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
More about Mr. Bandara
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the old fort, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Mr. Bandara: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

I was in your Year 7 class in 2018. You believed I could do it before I did!
