Mr. Balakrishnan

Mathematics and art teacher, Thane

🇮🇳 Thane, Maharashtra, India
Thane Girls' School
Since 1995
English

For 31 years I have been the mathematics teacher at Thane Girls' School. I teach the final-year class and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. I've run the debate team after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I make terrible puns.

More about Mr. Balakrishnan

The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Balakrishnan: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
