Mr. Bakari
Taught economics at Kilimanjaro Public School
- 🇰🇪 Likoni, Mombasa, Kenya
- Kilimanjaro Public School
- 1988 to 2021
- English, Swahili
I came to teaching late, after working as a shop assistant, and 33 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I had 690 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Mr. Bakari
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the capital, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
What gifts mean to Mr. Bakari: Any gift will help me keep tutoring for free.

You taught me economics in 1990 at Kilimanjaro Public School. I still remember the volcano experiment that got a bit out of hand.
